Reaching Hearts to support Nepalese Eye Care Mission.

Hi, my name is Louise & I'm from Reaching Hearts Pty Ltd. Prior to working in Aged Care & Disability support, I worked in the optometric field for over 22 years. As an optical dispenser, store manager & finally store owner. Needless to say, it's still in my blood & my past colleagues' stories still amaze & inspire me.

Jason Booth was an Optometrist in Victor Harbour when I first started in 2000. With the help of Rotary & a group of optometric professionals, he's been organising & attending biannual eye care missions to Nepal since the early 2000s.

We would love your help to support their up & coming mission in Nepal next month, February 2025.

If we're able to hit our fundraising target of $4,500 we are able to fund one volunteer to Nepal. Volunteers donate their time & skills & include Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, Optical Dispensers to name a few. Costs include the cost of cataract surgery in local Nepalese hospitals, to provide eye care, & eye wear to people in Nepal as well as cover government & logistical costs.
